Product Description

With so many fabrics to choose from as well as knee & midi length options, this circular wrap skirt will fill all the gaps in your wardrobe.

Make Option A, the knee length version, as a fun beach coverup in voile or a flirty date night skirt in ITY jersey.

Choose a rayon double knit for Option B, the midi length version, for a night of dancing or sew it up in wool challis for a business casual look.

This deceptively simple pattern features a triangular panel that sits over one hip and an asymmetrical hem that is shorter on the sides. The waistline is easily & quickly finished with bias tape- no fussy tubes of fabric to turn inside out! Whip up a knit version in an afternoon & be ready to go out on the town that night or sew a woven version ready to be worn the next day.

Your PDF pattern will come with a printing guide so you only print the pages you need for the version & size you want to make from the nested pattern.

The pattern also features a recipe for a shiitake lettuce wrap as well as a printable envelope to make storing your pattern pieces easy & convenient. Artwork for the pattern envelope was done by Neal Tse.

Use a medium to light weight woven or knit fabric that has some drape; avoid stiff fabrics. Great options are challis, jersey & voile, but many others will work too.

You will also need approximately 3yd of 1/2″ double fold bias tape. Narrower tape, tape made from rayon challis or fold over elastic will not provide enough support.

  1. :

I was very lucky to be a tester for this pattern. It’s easy to make and goes together in a snap. I actually made 2 skirts. The first was out of a cotton print and I bound the edges with bias tape. Looks so cute. The second was made out of a knit fabric and was the shorter version. I pair it with my running tights. Great for those cool mornings. I also added a small pocket for my cell phone. Works beautifully. This skirt is so very versatile. Love it!!!
