Yellow Tail Cami Sewalong: Picking the Right Fabric

Would you like a sewalong for the Yellow Tail Camisole?

Let’s start next Monday, September 23rd. That will give you time to find the right fabric & fold over elastic (although you can use a few things in place of the F.O.E. if you’re having trouble sourcing it). If you’ve already sewn with knits, this would be a good stash busting opportunity as you can get away with using less than a yard of 60″ wide fabric. If you’re color blocking, you could even use medium to large scraps left over from other projects.

To prepare for the sewalong, here’s a guide that will help you pick the right fabric. If you’d like a more portable version to take with you to the fabric store, you can download it in PDF format by clicking here: Yellow Tail Cami Fabric Guide.

I too will join you. I have some fold over elastic that I bought to make breast feeding camisoles for my daughter in law. Just have to find the fabric. Elaine

My house looks like a sewing bomb went off in it. IF I can get thru a couple things, AND clean up, AND pick out fabric, I will join you.
